How do I maintain my teapot and accessories?
Maintenance advice:
- After use, rinse with lukewarm water and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Porcelain / Glass / Stainless Steel: use only mild detergents; light descaling (water + a little vinegar), then rinse thoroughly.
- Cast Iron (enameled): do not wash in dishwasher; avoid thermal shocks; dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Clay (Yixing type): rinse with clear water only (no detergent); use one teapot per tea type.
- Copper: interior tinned/stainless steel — rinse and dry immediately; polish exterior occasionally if desired.

How do I choose the right teapot?
The choice depends on the type of tea (green/white, oolong, black, pu-erh), the volume (solo, duo, family), and the material (neutral porcelain, visual glass, heat-retaining cast iron, clay for characterful tea, robust stainless steel).
