Glass Teapot: See the Brewing Process and Taste a Pure Aroma
A glass teapot is perfect if you like to control color, strength, and brewing time. You literally watch the tea develop: from a light infusion to a full color. Glass is also taste-neutral, allowing delicate teas (such as green tea and herbal teas) to retain a clear and clean taste. In this collection, you'll find glass teapots in various sizes, with or without a filter.
Advantages of a Glass Teapot
- Visual control: monitor color and intensity.
- Taste-neutral: does not absorb aromas, ideal for alternating tea types.
- Modern and light: fits beautifully in a minimalist interior.
Buyer's Guide: Which Glass Teapot Is Right for You?
1) With an integrated infuser or a separate filter?
If you drink loose-leaf tea, a built-in filter is convenient. Alternatively: combine your teapot with a tea strainer for extra flexibility (also useful if you brew multiple types of tea in one day).
2) Capacity & Company
For one person, a smaller pot works ideally; for guests, a larger capacity is more practical. Combine with teacups to have a complete table setting right away.
3) Heat Retention
Want your tea to stay warm for extra long? Then a double-walled model might be interesting (see double-walled teapot). For a robust, heat-retaining option, you can also look at cast iron teapots.
Usage Tips for the Best Taste
- Briefly preheat the pot with warm water (more stable infusion).
- Use the correct temperature: green tea often requires a lower temperature than boiling.
- Don't steep for too long; taste in between.
Complete Your Tea Moment
Glass combines beautifully with a calm set. Also check out tea sets for complete combinations, or neatly store your tea in tea boxes.

How do I clean my teapot and accessories?
Maintenance advice:
- Rinse with lukewarm water after use and dry immediately with a soft cloth.
- Porcelain / Glass / Stainless Steel: mild detergents only; light descaling (water + a little vinegar), then rinse thoroughly.
- Cast Iron (enameled): do not wash in dishwasher; avoid thermal shocks; dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
- Clay (Yixing type): rinse with clear water only (no detergent); use one teapot per tea type.
- Copper: interior tinned/stainless steel — rinse and dry immediately; polish exterior occasionally if desired.
Always consult the specific instructions on the product page if they differ.
How do I choose the right teapot?
The choice depends on the type of tea (green/white, oolong, black, pu-erh), the volume (solo, duo, family), and the material (neutral porcelain, visual glass, heat-retaining cast iron, clay for characterful tea, robust stainless steel).
